Squawk was a species of animal native to Irece which was known for, and named after, its loud and distinctive cry.[1]
History
During the Clan Invasion, in December 3051, a Squawk played a role in assisting the defending 18th Dieron Regulars. A Star of headhunter Elementals sent to attack the command of the 18th by [[Galaxy Commander John Rosse of Clan Nova Cat's Beta Galaxy disturbed a Squawk during their approach, its loud cry alerting the 18th's command staff to the Elementals presence, allowing their command company to be scrambled and to destroy the Elementals.[1]
