History

Stone's Liberators was originally formed by Andrew Redburn from the warriors liberated from Word of Blake prison camps. They were the first troops to land on Terra during that assault, and were a key unit in freeing the world from the Blakists.

The Liberators also played a key role in the fighting between the Republic and the Free Worlds League in 3081, and later assaulted Tikonov and Liao.[1]

In 3085 Stone's Liberators was stationed on Kansu in Prefecture V of the Republic of the Sphere.[2]

During the Capellan Crusades of 3111-3113, they led the Republic's counterattack into Capellan space. They had to withdraw to Republic space before the Crusades came to an end due to heavy losses, but they had rebuilt by 3145.[3] They were stationed on Rigil Kentarus in 3145[4], where they were training in orbital combat drop tactics.

Officers

Their first commander was Andrew Redburn.[5]

As of 3085 the commanding officer was Colonel Su Demir.[2]

In 3145 the commanding officer is Colonel Josiah Severino.[4]

Tactics

During the Capellan Crusades, Stone's Liberators became skilled in orbital combat drops. They maintained this specialty through extensive training.[3]
