I'm straightening this one up, trying to fix things so that it flows better. I'm seeing a ''lot'' of places where "the" and "a" ought to be, but aren't... And the tenses seem to veer from past to present and back. [[User:Nuclear-Fridge|Nuclear-Fridge]] ([[User talk:Nuclear-Fridge|talk]]) 04:20, 20 June 2013 (PDT)

:I suspect what you're seeing is a reflection of the fact that a number of the most prolific contributors to the site, past and present, are not native English speakers. Several are (I think) German, which isn't really surprising given BattleTech's popularity in Germany over the years, and if someone who speaks English as a second language is trying to reinterpret text to avoid plagiarism issues, particularly working from sourcebooks published in German (or other languages) you're asking for odd tense issues and the like to creep in. That gets complicated further if articles are updated by multiple people from multiple sources... Tidying Up

I'm straightening this one up, trying to fix things so that it flows better. I'm seeing a lot of places where "the" and "a" ought to be, but aren't... And the tenses seem to veer from past to present and back. Nuclear-Fridge (talk) 04:20, 20 June 2013 (PDT)

I suspect what you're seeing is a reflection of the fact that a number of the most prolific contributors to the site, past and present, are not native English speakers.
