History

The Brotherhood is less a regiment than an ad hoc collection of breakaway militia forces, armed peasant gangs and opportunistic adventurers scattered across a dozen worlds.

By appealing to their long-suppressed Kuritan heritage and creating fictitious unit histories tying them to glorious events throughout Draconis Combine history, Katana Tormark has been able to get these widespread forces to work for her in her actions against the Republic of the Sphere.

Elements of The Brotherhood participated in the of Ronel in 3133[1], where Dragon's Fury forces led by Tai-i Abeda Measho were repulsed by Captain Santiago Padilla and his Swordsworn forces. The Dragon's Fury arrived with a JumpShip and several DropShips, one of them the Tako.[2]

The 29 July 3134, a lance of the Brotherhood with two 'Mechs and two MODs launched a raid against Sadachbia, being annihilated by a lone Highlander IIC, piloted by a woman making herself be called the Banshee. The only survivor, Yuri Agamato, was blamed for it and dispossessed.[3]
