During the FedCom Civil war two RCTs squared off against each other over control of Talon; the Twenty-second Avalon Hussars secured the Kallon plants and held them in the face of repeated attacks from the Seventh FedCom RCT, proving the strength of the defenses in place yet again.[1]
The Jihad
The Kallon Industries plant was targeted specifically by the Word of Blake during the Jihad; the Blakists completely destroyed the plant in 3069.[31] It was reported in 3079 that the Kallon facilities had been so effectively destroyed[32] using nuclear weapons[33] that it would be at least another ten years before salvage teams could even contemplate investigating the remains of the facilities.[32]
