Description[edit]

In 3030, Aldis Industries deployed the successful followup to its venerable Demolisher design, the slightly lighter Zhukov. While it shares many of the parts and features of the design that inspired it, the Zhukov is smaller, better armored, and packs less weaponry than its predecessor. Its first major deployment was with Wolf's Dragoons whereupon the Zhukov has since seen constant improvements and tweaks as suggested to Aldis Industries by the field units that use it. Despite this, the Zhukov's constant updating was eventually halted by Aldis Industries in 3058 when it could no longer keep the design in pace with advancing technologies.[5][3]

Weapons and Equipment[edit]

The Zhukov's strength is its relative simplicity. Two turret-mounted SarLon MaxiCannon Autocannon/10s are more than adequate at providing sufficient firepower for the discriminating buyer while imitating its larger cousin the Demolisher. A single Harvester 20K SRM-6 offers some added punch to anything daring to venture closer to the Zhukov.[5][3]

Variants[edit]

  • Zhukov (LB-X Variant 1)
This 3073 variant changed the normal AC/10 for the LB-X version and the SRM is only a 4 tube version. The protection is increased through CASE and the unit is part of a C3i network.[7] BV (2.0) = 956[8]
  • Zhukov (Liao LB-X Variant)
The CCAF modernized their vehicle in 3076 with the LB-X class autocannon and the SRM 4. The unit possesses a C3 slave and Guardian ECM equipment.[7] BV (2.0) = 1,021[9]

Related Vehicles[edit]

  • Demolisher - An older tank whose effectiveness is well known and is a parts donor to the smaller Zhukov.

Notes[edit]

  • In German products, the unit's proper name was translated to Schukow, the correct German transcription of the World War 2 Russian general Georgy Zhukov (Жуков, Георгий Константинович).
