The Twelfth Solahma Cluster was a second line Cluster of Clan Smoke Jaguar that formed part of the garrison of Huntress.

History[edit]

In 3054, the Twelfth was little more than a conventional infantry Cluster. Under the command of Galaxy Commander Benjamin Howell it was slowly equipped with captured BattleMechs taken from the Inner Sphere Occupation Zone.[1]

Task Force Serpent[edit]

As the DropShips of the Knights of the Inner Sphere were making their landings near New Andery on 12 March 3060 they were attacked by elements of Binary Fighter, two Avars were shot down.[2][3]

The Twelfth Solahma Cluster along with the Iron Guard Command Trinary, Trinary Fighter and a portion of the Forty-fourth Solahma Cluster were stationed at the main training facility several kilometers to the west of Lootera. They soon found themselves under attack by the Twenty-first Striker Regiment and the 151st Light Horse Regiment of the Eridani Light Horse.[4][5]

The Twelfth Solahma Cluster was virtually destroyed fighting here although it inflicted heavy casualties on the Twenty-first Striker Regiment, forced to retreat it did not survive the combat that followed.[6][7]
