The Bear-Zyklus (English: Bear Cycle) is a series of BattleTech novels by Arous Brocken that tell the story of trueborn Clan Nova Cat Warrior George, who later calls himself George Bear. Following one another seamlessly, they narrate how cadet George becomes a Nova Cat Warrior, is taken as bondsman by Clan Ghost Bear in 3053, rises through their ranks, is captured by mercenaries and ends up a mercenary himself on the other side of the Tukayyid truce line.
The novels were written in German and (so far) published in Germany only, with no English translation officially published.
