Star Commander Ekaterin Gruber received one of the first wave of deployment-ready Coyotls, as befit a Bloodnamed ristar. Ekaterin threw the full might of her inquisitive mind into the minutiae of field testing to unlock the potential of the design and regularly met with teams of scientist and technician caste members to pore over BattleROMs, obsessed with eking more performance out of the temperamental OmniMech. This insight proved invaluable as Clan Coyote defended against regular Trials of Possession for their OmniMech technology. Still, Ekaterin's obsession was seen as unbefitting a Warrior, even among the Coyotes, and limited her advancement to higher rank.[1]
