Isozaki Toshiyuki was a Chu-i of the DCMS's 1st Omega Regiment who died in the 3052 Battle of Luthien.[1]

Early in his career, Toshiyuki was a member of the 2nd Night Stalkers, where he reached the rank of Chu-i. When the Free Rasalhague Republic broke away from the Combine, Toshiyuki went ronin, fighting illegally to protect Combine citizens in the breakaway territory. He was jailed after the Ronin War, and although he was eventually pardoned, he was unable to return to a frontline regiment. The demoted shujin was left to the Luthien militia with a mere SecurityMech.[1]
In the lead-up to the 3052 Battle of Luthien, Toshiyuki was transferred to the 1st Omega Regiment to defend Imperial City. He performed exceptionally in battle: amidst the Wolf's Dragoons airstrike, he destroyed two Clan Nova Cat OmniMechs and damaged a third before dying. For his actions, Toshiyuki was posthumously promoted back to Chu-i and given the Guardian of the Lair award.[1]
