Jacob Hastings was the commanding officer of the First Regulan Hussars as of 3085.[1]

Colonel Hastings, serving with the First Regulan Hussars, was stationed on Regulus in 3085.[1] Hastings was enraged by her unit's defeat on Jouques due to the trickery and cunning of the defending Second Oriente Hussars, vowing to destroy "those Oriente clowns" whenever fighting between the Regulan Fiefs and Grand Duchy of Oriente resumed.[2]
