Star Colonel Ralph Kotare was an elite MechWarrior and commanding officer of the second-line Tenth Jaguar Regulars in 3059. On Jeronimo he faced four SLDF units, including the 1st Kell Hounds and 1st Wolf Legion of Clan Wolf-in-Exile.[1]
Facing the elite of the SLDF during Operation BULLDOG, Star Colonel Kotare fought the Hounds and Davion Assault Guards to a standstill in the Topside Woods for 3 days. The Jaguar retreat to the Stormcast Plain was harried by artillery and aerospace fighter attacks as they broke formation, driven into the Wolf Legion and Fourteenth Alshain Avengers. Star Colonel Kotare was taken alive, one of sixteen survivors of the Cluster, and interrogated by the ISF on Luthien.[1]
