Harris fomented a rebellion against the Marian Hegemony in 3117 in order to rejoin the Free Worlds League. After garnering support from surrounding systems the group took up arms against the Hegemony and were initially successful in capturing large portions of the world. This changed when elements of II Legio mobilized. In the town of New Erewhon Harris and a fellow rebel both piloted Cadavers that attempted to thwart the largely infantry advance of the Marians. After using their Flamers to engulf the buildings Marian infantry were using as cover, a force of Marauder battle armor focused their fire on Harris' companion. Under withering fire from the Marauders' Support PPC and Light Recoilless Rifle the BattleMech was quickly downed by engine damage when Semi-Guided LRMs rained down on the beleaguered ’Mech, guided by the battle armor's TAG. Harris turned to flee, but in his haste he lost his footing and crashed into a building. Before he could extricate himself, Marian infantry dragged Harris from the cockpit. Bereft of their commander, the rebellion quickly petered out. Harris was put on trial for treason and executed, and the video of the Marauder's efficacy was broadcast throughout the Hegemony.
