The Final Codex

The Final Codex[edit]

The Final Codex is a book supposedly written by Nicholas Kerensky himself, containing details of his plans for the future of the Clans after they returned to the Inner Sphere.

History[edit]

In 3136, the Raging Bears Galaxy was sent to the planet Vega to stabilize it, defeat the warlords and rebuilt the planet, a new Philosophy began to extend between their ranks: The Freeminders. The group demanded greater freedom, the right to marry people of the Inner Sphere at their will, and a return to family principles. The new philosophy was led by a mysterious leader, the Underkhan or Ukhan.

The Ukhan said this was part of the plans of Nicholas Kerensky himself, showing parts of a book supposedly written by him, called "the Final Codex". This book, theoretically written around the year 2822, when the last rebel forces in Pentagon Worlds were quelled, after Operation Klondike, was to be kept secret until the year 3019, the two hundredth anniversary of the Clan eugenics program, but suppressed by more than two centuries by the Khans and Loremasters of the time of Wolverine Annihilation, hidden in some archive and forgot... until the Underkhan found it, apparently.[1]

Content[edit]

The Final Codex appears to demand the end of the eugenics program, and the caste system dissolved. The Clans must join the Inner Sphere fully.[2]

Authenticity[edit]

Only the UKhan has ever seen the Codex, and despite the fact he asked one of Jacob Bannson's men to help him to make an edited copy, he believed the one he had was genuine.[3]
