Corporal Weyland Piers was a member of the Rollis Home Guard in the early to mid thirty-first century.[1]
History[edit]
In July 3027, Weyland Piers served under Subcommander Rodney Piet when the world of Rollis was raided by a Lance of BattleMechs from the 5th Syrtis Fusiliers. The raiders, under the command of Leftenant Theodore Barkley, expected to meet light resistance, but the stubborn defense of the Home Guard that took the Federated Suns troops by surprise. Despite heavy losses, the Home Guard drove the raiders off world.[2]
