Sergeant Yuri Karpov was a Armor crew member with the Capellan Confederation during the Age of War.[1]

Karpov was an experienced tanker by 2430, when the Korvin tank was introduced into Capellan service. The ability of Karpov and his crew to navigate the battlefield and lay down accurate fire in Korvins resulted in them being credited with over one hundred tank kills, as well as three BattleMechs, while losing only three Korvins.
For most of his two decade career in Korvins, Karpov was a Sergeant, a brief promotion to Lieutenant reversed due to his skills not extending to coordinating other tanks. Following the end of his active military service, Karpov was transferred to a military academy to teach the next generation.[1]
Vehicle[edit]
Karpov was known to have crewed a Korvin tank. His last Korvin was placed on display at the Sian War Museum, where it remained until at least the Word of Blake Jihad.[1]
