History[edit]

Alec Denner was born on Cylene II, and like all its citizens, the planet's gravity had made him stockier and more powerful.

Along the years, he had joked that he originally wanted to become a MechWarrior, but he felt that not even the hundred-ton Atlas would support his weight, and only the sturdiness of a vehicle would provide him the support he needed.

Denner was a superb vehicle pilot and one of the only members of the Ghost Legion who was not born into the role. He had ignored promotions at least twice to stay in the field, not wanting to leave his precious Demon. The only black mark against him was his unwanted advances on Angie Chelsy, his unit's commanding officer.[1]
