The Chancellor of the Lyran Intelligence Corps is the head of the Lyran Commonwealth's intelligence apparatus.

The Chancellor of the LIC reports only to the Archon. Though the organization runs along military lines and its leaders typically hold the rank of General, the head of the LIC is outside the military chain of command.[1] They also hold the title of Chancellor, reflecting their post as the head of what is nominally a branch of the civilian government. The Chancellor of the LIC is one of five chancellors in the Commonwealth government with a seat on the Commonwealth Council.[2]
