In 2404 the family where granted control of a province created from a small part of the Marik Commonwealth as thanks to House Graham's stalwart support of House Marik. This would become the Duchy of Graham-Marik.[2]
Since 2533 the Duke of Graham-Marik also has the right to carry the title of Defender of the Free Worlds.[1]
