Tung Xu was a noble of Hurik in 3080.[1]

History[edit]

Xu was well-known in Hurik's political scene, and had been called "cantankerous, arrogant, and a roadblock to progress" by his detractors. He was a major opponent to a new hydroelectric dam along the Chu River.

After attending a meeting of the planetary council, he left Victory City in his personal helicopter but never arrived at his home in Xing-Lo. A search team was dispatched after he was seven hours overdue, but after two days of searching, no trace was found of the helicopter. This prompted the planetary council to dispatched a militia battalion to search the ground, while fishing ships were pressed into service to check the Chu Sea.[1]
