Nikos Aris was a Terran Industrialist, and father of Jurdan Aris, the founder of the Capellan Republic.[1]
History[edit]
Nikos made a fortune in Greece on Terra in the 2100s, from newly discovered uranium mines in Northern Macedonia, but lost much of his riches after the Terran Alliance parliament decided to nationalized Terra's uranium industry. Though he remained wealthy, the reverse was too much for Nikos, and he killed himself in 2177.[1]
