History
The Fifth Sian Dragoons were responsible for repelling the Free Worlds Guards raid on Shiro III in 2529. This meshed well with their status as a free-floating defense regiment. They were stationed on Holloway in 2765.[1]
As one of the units rebuilt as part of the Hidden Lion program, the Fifth Sian Dragoons were instrumental in misleading the RAF and AFFS regarding their strength. They took part in the second battle of Tikonov, and forced the 3rd Federated Suns Lancers to retreat from New Moscow by using a three day long artillery bombardment. They then used a group of ConstructionMechs and combat engineers to rapidly bridge the Ulan River. This bridge allowed a quick attack on New Moscow. They had a full battalion of artillery and ConstructionMechs assigned to them in the Dark Age.
