Anton's Revolt
In 3014 the 31st Marik Militia was trapped on Uhuru by the 9th Lyran Regulars and Narhal's Raiders. The Fifth, along with the 3rd Oriente Hussars, relieved the trapped unit and drove the Lyran attackers off-world.[2]

Post-Jihad Era
The Fifth Oriente Hussars garrisoned Anegaski in 3079.[4]
In 3081 the Avior and Muscida systems were under a military interdiction; as an attempt to curb the activities of the Principality of Regulus units constantly raiding into the Duchy of Oriente, Oriente forces had seized the jump points in each system to allow them to search all inbound and outbound traffic. At the same time, elements of the 5th Oriente Hussars were suppressing Regulan supply bases on the surface of both planets.[5]
Officers
In 3025 the unit is commanded by Colonel Millicent Toromov.[6]
As of 3050 to 3059 the Commanding Officer was Colonel Keith Kruchoski.[7][1]
Tactics
Task with the security of a large territory the commander decide to split his unit in smaller commands at company strength. This decreased the time to react during a raid.[1]
