Overview

The One Hundred Twenty-ninth Jump Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

History

The unit took its name from their hazing ritual of giving a new soldier a parachute and push them off the edge of Mars' Valles Marineris canyon system.[1]

In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LVI Corps, Nineteenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[2] They were the garrison force for the Camadeierre system, which lacked any habitable planets but had a large concentration of asteroids with minerals. The three large gas giants of the system had several moons, one of which was terraformed by the Department of Mega-Engineering.[1]

The 129th was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[2]
