History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XXIX Corps, Second Army to District 1 of the Federated Suns Military Region, but was moved to an District 3 during the Reunification War by 2765.[1]
In February 2774 where stationed on Slocum. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
The 159th survived the war and the Hegemony Campaign, to be absorbed by the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns by 2784.[1]
