4th Succession War
During the war the Sixteenth engaged the Wolf's Dragoons on Glenmora.
The Sixteenth fought well during the Third and Fourth Succession Wars, but was relegated to garrison duty in 3033 after offending the Warlord of Galedon. During the Ronin Wars, the unit's commander threatened to side with the rebellious Warlord of Dieron unless his unit was given a better assignment. This action hurt the unit's reputation and priority listing for new equipment.

Officers
Tai-sa Francisco Bevier led the Sixteenth during the Fourth Succession War, but damaged the unit's reputation during the ronin wars. The current commander, Tai-sa William Tohiro, has had his hands full keeping morale up and salvaging the unit's reputation.
Tactics
The Sixteenth relies on reconnaissance from its detachment of VTOL craft. This aids them in the urban combat that is their specialty, as VTOLs perform admirably in such terrain, while aerospace fighters do not fight as efficiently in it.
