History
The First Buena Jaegers were first blooded by Duke Vedet's coup. They were stationed on Buena at the time, and saw their supplies re-routed to other forces that were more loyal to Duke Vedet. The unit was split into multiple company sized formations and raided deeply into the former Circinus Federation, taking very few losses. These raids improved the unit's cohesion and skills, and still allowed them to return a largely combat ready force by the time the Clans left Tharkad.[1] Though the unit was officially headquartered on Rosice in 3145[2], in reality they were still split into company sized formations to cover more ground.[1]
