Overview
The 304th Battle Cluster was a second line combat unit of Clan Smoke Jaguar.
History
The 304th Battle Cluster formed the garrison of the occupied colony of Nouveaux Paris in the Deep Periphery.[1]
In the chaos of the last days of Clan Smoke Jaguar the ultimate fate of this cluster remains unknown. The Smoke Jaguars apparently had a lack of JumpShips available, in the Occupation Zone at least,[2] so it is unlikely that this Cluster had transport assets. It may have been picked up by the retreating forces of either Brendon Corbett or Hang Mehta. It is possible that another Clan absorbed it through a Trial of Possession or that it fell victim to Prince Victor's forces as they returned from Strana Mechty. Intelligence obtained by Star Colonel Brian Pryde of Clan Jade Falcon from a source in Clan Hell's Horses in January 3071 indicated that Clan Ice Hellion had been mustering a large task force at Nouveaux Paris for some time.[3] It is therefore possible that the Hellions had either destroyed or taken the Cluster isorla.
