Fourth Succession War
With their best troops transferred to the Second Lancers in 3022, the Third was unable to hold Megrez against Lyran forces in 3027, although they did return, with mercenary support, three months later to recapture the planet.[1]
The Third spent the majority of the Fourth Succession War garrisoning Shiloh.[1]
Andurien Secession
Between 3040 and 3044 the Third rebuilt their troops and equipment. This included taking in some former Andurien troops.[1]
Operation Guerrero
The Third defeated militia forces on Castor during Operation Guerrero in autumn 3057.[1]
Operation Bulldog
Around the same time as Operation Bulldog, the Third Sirian Lancers liberated worlds of the Sirian Holds from the crazed Alexander Gyrn. In 3067 the Third served as the repository of all Sirian Lancers who weren't citizens of the Sirian Concordance. As of 3059 the commanding officer was Colonel Sally Hoffman, one of the Andurien additions to the Third (she formerly served as a Lance Commander in the Fifth Defenders of Andurien.[1]
In 3067 Colonel Inga Sukhabhai is the commanding officer of the 3rd Sirian Lancers.[3] She's biased against any non-Sirian, which has led to a severe morale problem.[2]
