The Seventy-first Mechanized Cavalry Cluster was a Cavalry formation of Clan Hell's Horses.

History
In 3059 and 3067 the Seventy-first was stationed on Kirin.[1] [2]
The Wars of Reaving and Jihad era
In a grueling defensive battle on Steelton in April 3071, the Seventy-first almost broke but managed to repel the Jade Falcon invaders from the First Falcon Hussars.[3]
By 3079 the Cluster was stationed on Kirchbach and was at three-quarters of its establishment strength.[4]
Dark Age
In 3085 the Seventy-first was stationed on Icar and mustered four-fifths of its authorized strength.[5]
By 3145 the Cluster had been transferred to Zoetermeer and was still at four-fifths of its authorized strength.[6]
As part of OPERATION NOYAN, the Seventy-first attacked the Jade Falcon world of Leskovik on 17 June 3147. Denied safcon by the garrison, a quarter of the Cavalry's troops were shot down by Falcon aerospace pilots before even landing, and the remaining Horses warriors were driven off by the Eighteenth Falcon Regulars.[7]
