History
Operation Revival
As part of Alpha Galaxy the 7th Dragoons fought on the following worlds during the invasion of the Inner Sphere:
Wave Two
- Garstedt - the Dragoons faced the 3rd Alshain Regulars; using a series of fast, mobile strikes, the Seventh drove the Third Regulars off-world with heavy losses. The Regulars lost nearly a battalion of 'Mechs before escaping off-world.[1][2]
Wave Four
- Schuyler- the Dragoons once again faced the 3rd Alshain Regulars, whom were once again driven off-world with moderate losses.[3] However later reports confuse this battle with that at Port Arthur. [2]
Wave Five
- Port Arthur - Under the command of saKhan Sarah Weaver the Dragoons dropped on to the Zuave Vale pushing the First Proserpina Hussars back to defensive positions. A headhunter attack failed but did force the Hussars to retreat again this time to an area with automated turrets in hardened bunkers which stalled the Dragoons for over a week before they pushed the defenders off planet. - Luthien - The dragoons took heavy casualties during the fighting. [2]
Tukayyid
The Dragoons dropped into the Dinju Heights along with the rest of Alpha Galaxy, again taking heavy causalities before being ordered to withdraw. [2]
Post Tukayyid
After Operation Revival the Seventh Jaguar Dragoons were transferred to Epsilon Galaxy and based on Tarazed in the Smoke Jaguar Occupation Zone.[5]
Operation Bulldog
- Tarazed - They offered safcon to the SLDF forces that arrived in system, not realizing how much force they faced. The fighting took place in a nearby mountain range, where the Seventh was completely destroyed by the 1st St. Ives Lancers, 2nd Genyosha, and 3rd Donegal Guards RCT.[6][2]
