Sergeant Aksel Vordel was a member of Wolf's Dragoons during the thirty-second century.

Aksel was a descendant of Hans Vordel, a Dragoons founding member and friend and personal bodyguard of Jaime Wolf. Aksel won the Vordel Honorname, and rose to the rank of sergeant prior to 3151, as a member of the Wolfsbane Battalion. Sometime after 3146, he received Nina Slade's Hellstar 'Mech following her death in the Battle of New Avalon (3146).[1] After the death of the majority of the Dragoons during the Battle of Terra, Aksel, along with the other Dragoons officers, attended a meeting on the DropShip Chieftain. There, the new Dragoons leader, Colonel Henry Kincaid' told them his plans to seek revenge against Clan Wolf. Aksel expressed his will to fight, and Kincaid promised him there would be fight opportunities for all.[2]
