Duke Anton Reitz was appointed by First Prince Alexander Davion to the post of administrator of the worlds seceded to the Federated Suns by the Outworlds Alliance under the terms of the Treaty of Cerberus in 2585. The first Star League appointee to the office of Director of Outworlds Alliance Affairs, Lady Claudia Cameron-Davis, loathed the Federated Suns and not only clashed constantly with Duke Reitz but also diverted Star League funding for reconstruction away from worlds administered by Reitz to her own personal projects and those former Alliance worlds occupied by the Draconis Combine.[1]
