The Black Hills Urban Combat Zone is one of Solaris VII's many new Arenas spawned after the Jihad and during the Dark Age. The Arena is located in one of the ruined zones of the Black Hills left after the Jihad.

This Arena is a usual fight place for Class I gladiators.

History[edit]

The Black Hills sector of Solaris City, where the Davion Arena stands, was heavily damaged in the Word of Blake Jihad, and many sections of the area were never fully restored. In fact, several city blocks were permanently walled off and recast as a battle arena for infantry-scale events. An in this way the Black Hills Urban Combat Zone was born. The terrain is mostly urban with partially of fully destroyed buildings and ruble.[1] It is centered around the ruble that surrounded the New Avalon Technologies enclave.

This arena is the biggest urban combat arena on Solaris VII for Tanks, battle armor lances, company-on- company infantry, just about everything, and was active in 3135[2]

This arena was also the baptism of fire location of Gnome "Dwarf", that happened in this arena on 3140 and also the baptism of fire of Sylph "Tinkerbelle" happened in 3144.
