In 3062 Count of Bluford Josiah Reese supported Katherine Steiner-Davion as the rightful ruler of the Federated Commonwealth. A portion of the Bluford Militia rebelled against this decision including the CO William Bacchelaut's childhood friend Michael Otis.[30] William commanded the remainder of the loyalist militia in an operation to eliminate the rebel forces.
