First Succession War[edit]
Chota was invaded during the first half of the major invasion into the Federated Suns launched by the Draconis Combine in May 2787.[11] Like other minor worlds such as Acoma, Nouveau Toulouse, and Tallassee, by the end of 2795 Chota was dying, either as a result of the damage taken during the assault or as a result of starvation and disease following the collapse of local trade and infrastructure in the region after the invasion.[33][11]
Chota wasn't liberated by the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns in any of the three major counteroffensives launched between 2801 and 2818,[34] indicating that by this point Chota wasn't considered worth attacking or defending.
