Cluster Organization
Clusters of Clan Ice Hellion follow the same principles as found in other Clans. Front-line Clusters are kept in top shape with the latest models, while second-line units make due with fewer OmniMechs and less access to other resources.[14]
The Ice Hellions also feature their own unique formation, known as a Flurry. Built in response to the Hellion's Fury campaign, these Solahma stop-gap units seen as little more than cannon fodder. Though nominally built along the same lines as standard Clusters, these Flurries have almost no 'Mech forces, instead containing fast hovercraft and VTOL combat vehicles. The few 'Mechs they do have are old and decrepit, even by second-line standards. Despite their suicidal nature, some Flurries have been known to even throw back enemy advances, at least long enough for reinforcements to arrive.[15]
