This family eventually grew pro-Davion, pro–Federated Suns, and pro-government. The resulting tensions between the noble family's supporter and the general population exploded into violence in 3025.[1]

In February, 3072 Cogdell was one of the planets that joined the breakaway Filtvelt Coalition.[24] By 3135 Cogdell later returned to the Federated Suns control.[28]
