History

The Thera-class carrier Corinth was under construction in 3059 and was due to enter service with the Free Worlds League black water navy in 3063, becoming the third-of-class vessel of her class, following the earlier FWLS Santorini and FWLS Sardis. Also under construction at the time were a pair of Eagle-class frigates intended to serve as escorts for the Corinth, the FWLS Gawain and FWLS Mordred.[1]

All three ships were still serving together in 3067.[2] The Corinth was suborned by the Word of Blake and would fight in their service throughout the Jihad; the Blakists also managed to suborn one of her escorts, the Mordred. The Mordred was destroyed in a major naval battle in the Dieron system in 3077[3] but the Corinth continued to fight in the service of the Word of Blake. The Corinth survived the Jihad, and was last observed in the Jouques system operating alongside the Zechetinu II-class corvette FWLS Opilione as part of a pack of five Blakist WarShips which conducted a brief raiding campaign against the Duchy of Oriente in 3079. As at mid-3081 the Corinth remained unaccounted for.[4][5]
