EC-EY-4189 |
---|
Also known as Boltin for its primary inhabited planet, EC-EY-4189 is a deep periphery system between the Inner Sphere and the Clan homeworlds, in striking distance (implicitly, 2 jumps away) of EC-EY-4170, Tarnby, and Wayside.
Boltin was originally a Clan Smoke Jaguar supply station during the initial Clan Invasion. It was seized by Clan Nova Cat in a successful Trial of Possession. Collateral damage from the trial caused an explosion and a fire that destroyed and contaminated the original Smoke Jaguar facility, and Clan Nova Cat built a new base eight kilometers away. As of 3058 the Nova Cats were still in possession of Boltin; the Smoke Jaguars had made only one (unsuccessful) attempt at reclaiming it.[1]
