Description
Isegrim is a Class Assault Dropship built jointly between Clan Wolf-in-Exile and Clan Wolf. The vessel is designed by both Clans scientist and technicians during later part of the Jihad as counter to then Word of Blake attacks. Clan Wolf-In-Exile would construct their vessels at the WC Aerospace Annex on Arc-Royal, where their counterparts would build them on Dell. It was largely unknown by Exiles and its allies with Lyran Commonwealth how the ship was designed, only that was very deadly vessel that both partners could use. In 3084, flotilla of Isegrims were spotted in Clan Wolf Occupation Zone, causing Lyrans to become extremely upset with Exiles.
The Isegrim was design as high-speed interceptor, rivaling the Interdictor Class Pocket WarShip. Based on Noruff, the ship would be seen in the navies of Lyran Commonwealth, and Clan Diamond Shark.[2]
Armament and Capacities
The majority of the ship's most powerful weapons are found in nose. These are pair three of Piranha and Manta Ray Sub-Capital Missiles batteries. Rounding out the conventional in nose section includes trinary of ER PPCs and Large Pulse Lasers. On each of the Isegrim's wing sections, the ship carries in sets of threes the following weapons; Class 40 Hyper Assault Gauss Rifles, ATM 12 Launchers, and Anti-Missile Systems. The ship has another set of 3 Anti-Missile Systems in aft sections of each of the wings.
The aft it protected by trinary of HAG 40s, ER PPCs, Large Pulse Lasers, and ATM 12s.
The ship is protected by 94.5 tons of Ferro-Aluminum armor, which is concentrated in nose and side sections.[3]
