Jon Campbell was a Colonel in the Northwind Highlanders.

He married Republic of the Sphere Senator Moelene Jaffries and had a girl, Tara Campbell in 3104. During her first five years, either him or her wife traveled to Northwind with her daughter. They had a second daughter in 3109 and her wife decided to step down from the Senate and him to retire to be more with their family. The family retired to their hereditary estates and titles as Count and Countess of Northwind.[1]
When his wife died in 3115, he returned to active duty.[1]
