The SLS Jonathan Cameron and the Eighteenth Fleet was scattered across both the Free Worlds League and the Magistracy of Canopus when the Periphery Uprising began, and as a consequence was damaged by saboteurs as the uprising began. Admiral Jones joined his forces with Admiral Francisca Nieminen of the Ninth Fleet within weeks of the Secret Army funded by Stefan Amaris being revealed, and the two fleets would continue to fight together throughout the Periphery and Hegemony campaigns.[1]
