Josia would join the military at seventeen years old, proving himself to be superb in the field he would work his way up the ranks earning a Distinguished Service Award with two diamonds and membership of the Order of the Saber.[1]

In 3025 Josiah was serving as the Commanding Officer of the Second Free Worlds Guards.[1]
