Description
The Kelswa Assault Tank is a 32nd Century frontline Combat Vehicle which produced original in the Lyran Commonwealth. A popular tank, the Kelswa is deployed throughout the armed forces of the Inner Sphere and some of Touman of the Clans.[4]
Armament and Capacities
The heart of the Kelswa is its 285-rated Pitban Fusion Engine, being able propel the tank a modest 54 kph. Protecting its heart is 12 tons of ArcShield Heavy Ferro-Fibrous armor, with 30 percent of its tank's armor protection in its front.
The Kelswa's main firepower comes from its two Grizzard Model 200 Gauss Rifles which are mounted on its turret. Backing up the Rifles are pair of Defiance Model XII Extended Range Medium Lasers which are mounted in the tank's front along with two Coventry Heavy Autoguns. The Heavy Machine's half ton of ammunition is stored with Gauss Rifle's forty rounds of ammunition in the CASE protected body.[5]
Notes
The Kelswa Assault Tank first appeared game-wise as part of Wizkids' MechWarrior: Dark Age Collectable Miniatures game as a part of its Falcons Prey expansion set. It was later adapted by Catalyst Game Labs and redefined once the company advanced the game's timeline to 3145.
