History[edit]

In 3062, Luther served as XO of the 14th Lyran Guards' armor brigade. Heimdall agents working for Morgan Kell[2] evaluated him as a competent, if not outstanding, leader, and that he aspired to high command, similar to his father, General Ivan Steiner. Luther believed that his career was being held back by the efforts of the RCT's commander, Kat Porter, and his immediate superior, armor brigade CO Imogen Ackerman, due to his family connections. [1]

FedCom Civil War[edit]

Luther's unit joined Free Skye for the attack on Hesperus II, trying to seize Defiance Industries. After the conflict, the unit became a pariah among the brigade, protected from disbandment only by Robert Kelswa-Steiner.[3] It is unknown what Luther's involvement was with his unit during the war, but he was promoted to Colonel and given command of the armor brigade by 3067.[4]
