In 3055, Mark Allard was residing on Arc-Royal with his grandfather. At this time he met with Victor Steiner-Davion to whom he expressed frustration over the betrayal of his uncle Phelan Kell.[2]

Allard fought beside Victor Steiner-Davion in a sim battle and on September 3055, when the Red Corsair attacked Arc-Royal, Mark answered her challenge, posing as a young militia officer as part of a trap laid for the pirates. However, when the battle began, he wasn't allowed to fight and instead was kept in a bunker with his father.[3]
