Mission 3
Objectives:
- Destroy the Water Regulator
Mission Description
Armstrong: Destroying Jade Falcon's supply depots has hurt their power on Twycross. That should buy Prince Victor some relief. But there is still more we can do to weaken their influence.
Holloway: The Clan controls nearby civilian populations by restricting access to the planet's scarce water. The local source is an underground reservoir at the settlement of Istander.
Holloway: Istander is located in a canyon that shields it from the Diabolis. It's heavily defended.
Armstrong: We are sending in your lance, Commander, to break the Clan's control over the water supply.
Holloway: The key to freeing the water supply is to destroy the reservoir's flow regulators. Then the water can no longer be shut off.
Armstrong: Dominga Pryde? Are you willing to add anything?
Dominga: The settlement has several dense urban areas as well as a turret defense network. I would expect close range combat and possible ambushes from Elemental battle armor.
Armstrong: Move out when ready, Commander.
DURING MISSION
Objectives:
- Destroy the flow regulator
- Leave the City
- Defeat Star Commander Revan
Holloway: Remember, this settlement is heavily fortified. Watch out for turrets.
Omata: If we can locate and take over the turret control, we might be able to use the Jade Falcon defense grid against them.
Holloway: Apparently Dominga Pryde's warning was well founded! Expect more close-in combat.
Holloway: The water regulator is down.
Kendra: Now the water can flow freely!
Holloway: Hold on a moment. A Clan 'Mech just dropped in outside the city. They are trying to box you in! It looks like this isn’t over yet.
David: It’s never easy, is it?
Dominga: Wait. I know this 'Mech. Star Commander Revan, give way or be destroyed.
Revan: Star Captain Pryde. How the mighty have fallen.
Dominga: That is a Dire Wolf, Commander. It is an assault-weight weapons platform. Close quickly, and with decisive strength. Do not take it lightly.
Mission Success
- Destroy the flow regulator – 1,000,000 C-Bills
- Leave the City - SUCCEEDED
- Defeat Star Commander Revan – 2,000,000 C-Bills
