Melissa Auburn was a Lyran Commonwealth historian who wrote The Black Widow: In Memoriam, the book would top best sellervlists for over a tear.[1]

Melissa my actually be a misnamed Misha Auburn who was a noted historian and author of a number of works. However There is still a strong chance Melissa was one of Misha's six younger sisters who have not been named. This second theory is also supported by a theory that Melissa could be named after Melissa Steiner who was born in 3010, a year after Misha.
