Tancred also kept the First Rangers on McComb for two years with barely enough supplies to remain operational, chastening them for their recent actions; the Rangers returned to Robinson in 3082, humbled and loyal to Robinson but still possessed of a determined hatred for Tancred. Republic[edit]
Mordecai and his wife Edwina would emigrate to the Republic of the Sphere. His grandson Aaron would eventually be a major figure in return worlds back to the Federated Suns.[6]
